El campesino, marginado del progreso y la educación, sobrevive esforzándose sin ayuda del conocimiento. La hoja de coca quien ha permanecido a sus tradiciones, ahora con la industria de la cocaína es su principal fuente de ingresos. Having been excluded from progress, rural farmers survive by planting coca leaves. This plant passed down from their ancestral traditions has become their main source of income through the cocaine industry. They are torn between two forces: criminals and the decisions made by governments determined to end cocaine production, using glyphosate to destroy coca crops, but at the same time destroying the ecosystem.
